Embedded type solar road studs are always applied in the center line, while raised type solar road studs are commonly used in the edge lines. This is for than the solar road studs installed in the center line have particularly higher requirements on the pressure resistance.

Some studs are mounted with epoxy on the road surface, others are fixed with single or double shanks. Solar road studs are just like reflective road studs but use solar energy to power embedded LED lights. The glass bead reflectors on the plastic road studs increase the night visibility. high visibility with reflectors

Each stud is approx. 100mm square and is available in choice of finish to best suit your needs, plain (a smooth surface) or profiled sometimes known as serrated (a raised surface) which offers improved skid resistance in adverse weather conditions. The crossing stud shank used for fixing into the road surface is approx. 75mm long.
